Babyback Rib Recipe
On the Grill / Pit

Ingredients:
  • Rusty's Rib Rub
  • Honey Mustard Rodeo Sauce
  • Babyback Ribs (we cook 1 rack for each 2 adults, "Jethro" eaters can put one away by themselves)
  • Foil or covered roaster
On a gas grill set to 400degr.
On a charcoal pit prepare an even bed of hot coals;
On a wood fire pit burn wood down to even bed of heat;

Remove ribs from packaging and rinse well, pat dry.
Place ribs on a foil pack ( enough to completely wrap them
and make a slight tent over the top ).
Apply Rusty's Rib Rub liberally and rub it in on all the meat surfaces of the ribs, the more rub the spicier the ribs !
close the tent.and ...wash your hands! .

Put 'em on the pit for at least 1 hour to an hour and a half (we do ours covered to maintain the heat and moisture)
Cooking time depends on the size of the ribs.
Remove ribs from foil and place meat side up on the grill ( meat side down they can stick ),
apply Rodeo Sauce liberally
cook for an additional 15 minutes, foil open,
to crisp up the sauce on the ribs...
The ribs can be placed on a rack in the roaster to allow fat to drain off,
or if they're threatenin' to fall off the bones!
Allow to cool for 5-8 minutes after removing from heat
before serving...it's ok to put more sauce on 'em at the table...
Eat Up !
